Alley Cats are homeless

My wife and I have been feeding kittens in the alley.  Today somebody destroyed their home, in the guise of landscaping.  These cats are confused and scared.  We share this world with them, occupy the exact same space at times, yet we declare ownership and they have no say.  It isn't right.
